Vedic Meditation Courses / Information in English
Vedic Meditation is an easy meditation technique which enables a profound rest for the body and tranquility for the mind. Its great advantage is that the technique is not based on concentration and therefore, compared to many other methods, it does not require any effort. Its regular practice notably reduces anxiety and tension, increases resistance to stress, improves relationships with others, improves concentration and memory, normalises blood pressure and has many other benefits.
I have learnt this technique in Australia and been practicing it twice a day for over three years and it is in this meditation that I find energy, peace, clarity of thinking and health. I have very soon experienced many of the benefits that Vedic Meditation delivers and started looking for a teacher in the Czech Republic. As I have not found anyone suitable, I asked my Australian teacher Tim Mitchell to come and teach in Prague. He has come and taught in Prague three times already and we are very happy that he is coming to teach again in May and June 2012.
Free introductory talks
For everyone interested in Vedic Meditation, learning more about the technique, the course and meeting the teacher.
In the talk, there is also space to ask all questions of the teacher.
Intro talks take place in Yoga Studio Akasha, Letohradská 16, Praha 7 and are free of charge.
Talks are held in English with Czech translation unless specified otherwise.

We highly recommend that anybody interested in joining the Vedic Meditation course first joins a free Introductory talk.

the first session is always on Saturdays and held in a small group
part of the session is one on one (one student and the teacher), part is shared in small group of max. 5 people
other 3 days (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) the course is shared in a group from 6:30 - 8:30 pm
courses take place in a yoga studio in Praha 8 Ďáblice, 5 mins from metro C Ládví
Apart from the scheduled courses, Tim will be available to teach private meditation courses to small groups and individuals in English.
